We were taken by this white and yellow, bright art space put together by Christie of Childhood 101. While we though the yellow frames were decals at first, it turns out Christie grabbed a pencil, ruler, and a paintbrush, and painted them herself. Can you see what else wound up getting painted yellow as well?

That's right- the IKEA easel also got a coat of that same yellow paint.
We actually have a very similar space for our daughter: same easel, same table from IKEA also, and a string with clothespins for rotating art. But we really like the extra space for rotating or displaying art that the hand-painted frames provide. Your child will certainly feel like a real artist seeing their work "framed."
Visit Childhood 101 for more details on this space and plenty of other great ideas and inspiration.

White Enamel Flatwa...
That looks great! I wonder how the art then attaches to the wall? Poster-tak?
Thanks for including our art space on Ohdeedoh :)
TexanHolly - I just use loops of masking tape to hang the artworks.
Love the yellow frames!
