Ida Pearle's sweet alphabet cards make frequent appearance in Ohdeedoh Nursery Tours and now her work can appear in your child's bookcase.

A Child's Day: An Alphabet of Play was published earlier this month by Harcourt and feature Ida's charming paper collage creations. Each letter of the alphabet represents a form of play - C is for catch(ing) butterflies! Ida's work celebrates the spontaneity and carefree nature of childhood play and exploration and we can't wait to add this to our bookshelf.

And somehow we missed the release of Words to Remember: A Journal for Your Child's Sweet and Amusing Sayings this spring. Conceived by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrated by Ida Pearle, keep it handy to record your kids' verbal gems so you can laugh, smile or perhaps cry when you revisit them later.
