San Franciscans, have you peeked into or visited Locanda on Valencia yet? The space is incredibly sexy, the service is fantastic, and the cocktails are superb, but it's the tile I can't stop thinking about...

Locanda is the newest project from the creators of Delfina and Pizzeria Delfina, and like those two restaurants it is warm, welcoming, glamorous, and serene all at once. A friend and I stopped in to have a drink recently and I couldn't take my eyes off the gorgeous wall of tile. It is by Heath Ceramics, of course, and is part of the "Dwell Patterns" collection discussed here last year. The Dwell Patterns are available both In-Stock and Made-To-Order, and range from $24-$48+ per square foot. I would have to pick a very small accent wall indeed if I ever wanted to make this look a part of my home — or just get very lucky at the Heath Overstock/Seconds Tile Room! In the meantime, I'll just ogle Locanda every time I walk past.

Don't forget to check out the beautiful (and $$$) modo chandelier from Roll and Hill. I love it when restaurants don't skimp on the details.
How amazing would it be to tile something with Heath goods?!
