This home belonging to Dania and Lou in Park Slope, Brooklyn was slowly designed for their lifestyle only after occupying the space for a year first. They took time figuring out major issues like how to designate room usage, as well as fun stuff like fabric selections.

The finished product is a bright and cheery one-hundred-year-old home that feels thoroughly contemporary on the inside. Electric colors, graphic patterns, and luxurious textures combine in a way where everything belongs and nothing is left out. Pieces from different times and cultures even play well together in this modern eclectic space.

White Enamel Flatwa...
I love all the colors. And that credenza/dresser is lovely!
I have a tea table tray similar to one over credenza. Any ideas on how to hang?
that couch is so lush, and i love the color combo of the credenza with the orange and light blue. gorgeous!
Oooh, love that first image!
@njm4487, I can think of a few possible ways to hang a tray like that.
1. Use epoxy to attach a loop on the back and hang on a hook when dry. (Obviously the loop becomes permanent, so "damages" the back of the tray...)
2. Put two finishing nails at the same height on the wall protruding as much as the tray will from the wall's surface. Have someone balance the tray on the nails. Add one or two more at the top ads snugly as you can to keep the tray from tipping forward.
3. Find the world's biggest plate hanger! ;^)
Where is that purple/cream chevron throw from???
