Converting a guest room to a nursery or creating a space that can function as both is a common scenario for parents. Here, designer Sarah Stacey was tasked with creating a nursery/guest room combo that catered to both needs and aesthetics for a family in Austin.
The mother wanted the room to be colorful and modern. One requirement was that the nursery had to double as a guest room for parents and in-laws. So, we chose a daybed with a trundle which was placed on one wall...the crib, dresser/changer and chair were placed on the other.
• Crib: Oeuf
• Chair: Client's own
• Changer: PB Teen
• Daybed and Table: West Elm
• Bedding: Serena & Lilly
• Art and Bumper: Etsy
• Rug: Land of Nod
• Paint: Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray
