We know we're in for more frigid temperatures here on the East Coast. In addition to wool throws, warm stews and hot baths, we're prescribing a cozy spot in the house.

We found this cozy place to read over at GiddyGiddy. We love the stocked bookshelf and the mushroom stool, most definitely a cozy spot to spend a cold winter's afternoon. This past long weekend we spent some time creating and re-stocking the cozy spots throughout our house. We added a sheepskin to our nursing rocker; bought a basket to hold extra pillows and blankets for the living room; and added some new books and art supplies to the kids' bookshelf in the play area.
