Whitney of Mint Gypsy decided that she needed to step up her iPhoneography game now that she's joined Vine. Instead of shelling out dough for an iPhone tripod, she made one. Using tape, a rubber band, a piece of grippy non-skid drawer liner and a divider from her iPhone's old packaging, she rigged together this iPhone tripod mount.
The new mount grips onto Whitney's existing tripod with the aforementioned rubberband, allowing Whitney to keep her iPhone in one place while she films videos for Vine. While it won't win any awards for looks, it gets the job done, and she can now shoot short stop-motion movies with the best of 'em.Mint Gypsy for a full tutorial on how to turn your iPhone's packaging into a DIY tripod adapter.
