Coincidentally, I just finished re-organizing my own craft area in my house. If I had the space, I'd be all over making this easy and clean craft desk for my own kids.
Rachel of Handmade Charlotte was also organizing her craft projects when her kids decided they wanted in on the action. In order to keep them busy with their own work, she designed this simple desk area that corrals all of the supplies young kids could want to make art or crafts. It's simple to DIY with easily-found materials.

Nomade Express Slee...
This is really great! Will have to make a little craft space for my Olivia (maybe then I'll be able to get some of my own crafting done). :)
Hmmm... the time I left craft supplies out I ended up with red crayon on the wall and a kid with a cut T-shirt. And yes, he knows he's not supposed to do it and yes, he knows there will be consequences. But that prefrontal cortex just isn't strong enough yet to exert any impulse control. *sigh*
But that sure is cute. And I love the multi-functional stool/bucket idea.
