Cynics like to say that Valentine's Day is just another commercial holiday to get everyone to go out and spend more money. I like to think of it as a day to celebrate loving one another, and there are plenty of ways to make the day both festive and budget-friendly. LoVe All of ThEsE HeArTs!
Love the Elton John lyric :)
all good but the footprints are precious
I really like the rubber stamp idea.
All are cute, but I look at things like this with my guy in mind -- and I feel sure he'd think they were too too girly. (And I hasten to add, he's not your typical sports-oriented, beer swilling, cigar chomping kind of guy, at all. More your nerdy, computer programming, D&D playing, Downton Abbey watching kind of guy... so there is somewhat more leeway in his thinking about such things, usually...)
It's funny, "discerning", but I thought the footprints was the only one I thought precious...but, of course, I had in mind a couple I know who just had a baby and the husband will be traveling overseas during Valentine's Day. Thought this would make an adorable Valentine that he could travel with and feel like his baby daughter was with him.
But, yes, all are great ideas. The only one I don't care for is the box of hearts. Opening a box (which would be from the top) would not have the impact as shown.
Agree with you Sherry - but my man appreciates the girly things- heehee
