Back in January, we featured the making of a veneer lamp by Tom Rossau. While this lamp does not require the craftsmanship or precision that goes into Tom's lamps, it also doesn't require the hefty price tag. Using strips of wood veneer and an IKEA HEMMA light, this woven lamp is a cinch to make.
Poppytalk just featured this guest blog by Arounna Khounnoraj of Bookhou full of photos and instructions. And since the Apartment Therapy crowd is known for its proud DIYers and pendant lamp lovers, we knew we had to share.
Beyond the veneer and the lamp kit, a round up of a few office supplies is all you will need to get started. Once you get the hang of it, the only frustrating part will be waiting for the glue to dry.
