As your family grows, so do the number of parties, classes, appointments, and errands. Electronic organizers and calendars are efficient but I still like to keep an old fashioned real life listing of our family's activities. Mine, I'll admit, is a white board; nothing too exciting. But check out this fun idea of turning a paneled door into the family control center.
I love the look of the peeling paint on the old door. The panels look like they've been painted with a coat of magnetic chalkboard paint. It's the perfect place to pin up tickets and invitations as well as writing notes for the entire family to see.
