Williams-Sonoma's Home store seems like three-parts Pottery Barn with one part Hollywood Regency (at its most conservative). When we saw the Mason Desk on the floor of the shop, we were almost persuaded to tip the scales a bit more to the Hollywood Regency side.
Like raccoons, we are big fans of bright and shiny things: these A-frame legs in all its nickel-plated glory is a surprising twist for this sawhorse table, considering that Ikea's been selling the same type of desk for a fraction of the price (yay!) but no shiny legs (boo!). Or, if you have an extra $16,000 under your mattress, get the Ralph Lauren Highbridge desk.
