A Fresh, Bright & Organized Toy Area

Becky wrote us to share this toy storage area she created for her children, Preston (6) and Lyla (4). We're pretty sure her aim was to inspire others, not make us feel bad about our own, ahem, somewhat less appealing toy storage.

This area is part of a playroom, but it's so well pulled together that it could easily be in a family or living room. Becky says:

I wanted a place to help my kids organize their toys easily, but still wanted the space to be pretty. I went with bright, primary colors, which I choose because I have both boy and girl toys. My goal was to make the space functional, cheerful and very kid friendly. Everything has a place, which makes clean up a lot easier for my children and myself! It's definitely a space in our home that makes me smile :)

The main storage system is from JC Penny's (no longer available), the blue containers and green buckets are from The Land of Nod, the red baskets are from Garden Ridge, and the pillow and rug are from Ikea.

Thanks Becky! Readers, see more of this space on Becky's blog This is Happiness and see what else she's been up to.
