Sometimes in our travels through Flickr, we come across a set of photos that makes us wish we could step in and have a go at the space at hand. Usually it's because we would do something completely different, but in the case of this vintage kitchen receiving a transformation into a bathroom — it's because we really hate to see it go!

This kitchen in Trondheim, Norway is a serious blast from the past, in the good way! It has all flat-front metal cabinets, some serious paint designs going on, sweet tile and don't even get us started on that furniture set.

Although the homeowner has other ideas for the space (and we're sure it was greatly needed) as a new bathroom, we still love the full-out look of the mid-century years, alive and kicking... hard. We're glad we were able to see a few shots of it before its demolition as it's a great time capsule of style and design!

Have you seen a space around the internet that's so retro it hurts? Leave us a link in the comments below!
