A Good Toy Guitar

Good Questions

Q: I'm on the hunt for a children's acoustic guitar for my 3-year-old who is absolutely in love with guitars. Neither his father or I play, so it is definitely intended to be more of a toy than a functioning musical instrument; however, I woud like it to look real, play actual notes (even if out of tune) and be reasonably sturdy. Do you or your readers have any suggestions?

Sent by HeidiEditor: Most of the toy guitars I read about get poor or mixed reviews from parents for being too flimsy or junky. The guitar pictured ($20) is sized for toddlers (23") and can be tuned but I can't give a personal recommendation. Any readers out there who can offer a first-hand account of your child's toy guitar?
