Duplexes are practical in their use of space, but they have a reputation for not being exactly attractive, let alone green. Welcome to Oklahoma where all that's about to change.

Natural Home and Garden found a great gem of a space in Tulsa. This home by Rachel and Shelby Navarro is LEED certified and one of the first of its kind. Shelby designed the space with his grandfather in mind who taught him from an early age to reuse what you have and make the most of everything else.

This home boasts an outdoor shower, large fold-open windows and doors, a green roof, and sustainable materials throughout. It's a beautiful space that makes living close together not only attractive, but a little more earth-friendly.
