When your kids outgrow their small activity tables, what's next? For Helen's twin girls it was a bright, full-sized desk that accommodates the two of them with room to grow into.

Helen honored the girls' artwork by displaying it above the desk with washi tape which also allows her to easily update the girls' gallery. She attractively displayed their pens and pencils by sorting them by color and made sure to include storage, one for completed artwork and one for fresh paper so they can begin anew!
Thanks Helen! Readers, see the desk in action on Helen's blog Curly Birds where she writes about crafts for kids.

Looks very cute. I love the little art wall and having a coloured work surface is ideal. The A-frame table legs appear to stop the chairs from being pushed in together. How practical is the space when two want to work at it together?
My girls are still quite small and prefer to kneel on the chairs to comfortably reach the table. Before we bought the desk, we made sure that two chairs fit comfortably on either side of it. As soon as the girls are able to sit in the chairs, we will pull the desk. Right now these identical twins are very close and want to be right next to each other, coloring together. It is funny to think of our desk growing from crayons to homework and laptops.
This is such a beautiful, simple space! I love it. I really love the jars with the art supplies separated by color... such a simple way to add beauty and it probably encourages clean up as well!
I love the pop of red from the desk and the art display is just perfect.
