Dutch designer Pepe Heykoop has put together a few new pieces that are sure to bring out the kid in all of us. His furniture pieces created from simple children's blocks have us smiling. They're super fun, colorful and add a nice touch of whimsy. Check out more photos after the jump.

You can check out a few of his other pieces above, a chandelier and a close up of the seamless fabrication and assembly of each structure. Now each night when you step on your children's blocks on your way to the bathroom at 2am, you can simply threaten to turn them into a chair if they don't keep things tidy.

Although, if that idea is appealing to them, there could be a large amount of gluing in your future. You can check out more of his work over at Designboom and read up about Pepe's other works from his website. We hope to see his pieces hit production little hands would love to run their fingers over each piece and see something that's usually regarded as a toy — as furniture!
