The latest issue of Lonny Magazine has hit computer screens, and it's full of summertime inspiration for light and relaxed spaces. One such design by Lisa Sherry uses soft pastel pink and layers of white, cream, and metallics to create a perfect guest retreat in a converted attic nook.

To accommodate a sleeping function for the space, Sherry made a custom-size twin bed and paired it with a demilune bedside table that doesn't obscure passage despite sticking out from the wall. The horizontal paneling is painted white to maximize the feeling of open space in the room. In the bathroom, decorative mirrors climb the walls and reflect light, making it feel larger. Pretty feminine stools, hanging fixtures, and bath linens further create a sense of coziness without visually reducing the square footage.

Beautiful bathroom - Very feminine!
it's beautiful -- but I don't think I'd ever create something so uber-feminine for a guest space.
Loving the mirror idea.
The whole magazine is g-g-gorgeous.
