When do you get when you combine a hanging planter, sisal rope and electrical wiring? How about the lovely (and super budget-friendly!) pendant shown above. I'm loving this recent DIY and would have never thought it was made from a planting basket originally intended for the garden! Read on for a supply list and full DIY instructions.

Materials

• Hanging planter basket
• Sisal rope
• Single round outlet cover plate for a rectangular receptacle
• White spray paint (low-VOC, of course!)
• Mini-pendant
