The travel season might be over, but we just stumbled across this really cool vacation rental apartment in Harlem that looks like a place where we'd like to live. We had to share it with you here.
Most vacation rentals we've come across aren't necessarily places we'd like to call home. But this one looks a little like what we'd do ourselves if this apartment were ours.
The gravel patio, in particular, is a major plus. It's not everyday that you have an outdoor space in this city, which makes this clean-cut little one all the more special. We also love the punchy orange accents that show up a few times throughout the home.

This space is very, very cute! The exterior reminds me of a friend out on the UWS: 1900s brownstone.
What I don't like is that it seems a bit too modernized for my taste. I wish the styling was kept in line with the beautiful exterior. What irks me the most is the white painted moldings. They would have been so beautiful if they had stayed wood!

Just remember for all of our out of town friends, check for bed bugs and make sure you immediately wash all your clothing when you get home. In New York bed bugs are more than just a nursery rhyme.
