A Home Office Shrine To The Past & Present Macintosh

A Home Office Shrine To The Past & Present Macintosh

Home office renovations are our favorite home projects. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh coat of paint, a simple desk and a collection of past and present computers that you love. Instead of throwing them into the junk yard — hang them as art.

Flickr User Birddog10 recently added their basement office renovation to the Unplggd Flickr Pool and we knew we needed to share it. First and foremost we can see that they have a love for past and present macbook's. Between the several computers on the desktop, two older macbook's hanging on the wall as art and the painted macintosh apple on the wall — they're obvious fans. There are so many hacks for converting old macbook's into new things but we're happy to see they kept them as is. We're happy to see some PC's scattered in there too.

We love how simple and straight forward their desk is. Using ordinary white filing cabinets and a simple desktop they created a desk. Above the desk they hung shelving to house their collection of books and keep them out of the way. The task light brings everything together and completes this simple basement office renovation.

What do you think of this basement office?
