Autumn Workshop is a design and fabrication studio started by Brooklyn-based designer Daniel Goers. His products and furniture designs are inspired by natural and found materials, and often integrate plant and animal habitats, like the Terrarium Lamp you see above. It's a touch lamp on a dimmer, so you can feed your habitat and glow your home simultaneously.

Autumn Workshop lamps are now on display until May 11 at Saffron* flower shop in Brooklyn (31 Hanson Place, Brooklyn, NY).

White Enamel Flatwa...
So stealing this idea. Thank you!
I like the idea, but the execution seems simplistic.
Am I the only one that noticed the plant is singed on it's tips? That seems sad to me. :-(
I'm going to call bullarky on this one. A lightbulb in a jar will create and hold way too much heat for nearly any plant.
Lol.
btw, is that an iPhone in your pants or are you just happy to see me? ;)
The tips aren't singed- that's the coloring of this particular succulent. I could see this technically working as long as the bulb was something that emitted less heat, like some silcone frosted cfls. (Though I can't say I see it aesthetically working in an actual space. Still beautiful regardless!)
Hm. That dude needs to wash his pants.
