As Thanksgiving weekend gets underway, many will be turning their attention toward Christmas decorating in their homes. Some go all out on the exterior, others have a room dedicated to the holiday. We love the approach used in this cottage: a smattering of subtle little touches of Christmas here and there, in every room of the house:
Can you find the Christmas in each of the rooms above? Sometimes it's just a small handmade wreath, or candles burning near a warm mug of cocoa. We love that none of it is in-your-face, but it all works together to infuse the home with the warmth of the holidays. Some of the small holiday touches used here are great for small spaces where you don't want to overwhelm your home with seasonal clutter.
Do you, too, spread the holiday decor throughout your home? What small ways do you decorate spaces like the bathroom? It might be just a candle or a special hand soap. The kitchen? Maybe a bay leaf wreath. Let's hear your ideas in the comments below.
