When living in the city, privacy can sometimes can be hard to come by since buildings tend to be just a few feet apart. One way keep your home more private while letting in the natural sunlight and fresh air is...
...to use a detailed curtain. We love (is obsessed a bit too much?) Tord Boontje. All of his designs are amazing and his Until Dawn curtain is a great option for keeping unwanted eyes out and fresh air and light coming in. You can even consider pairing this curtain with a colored sheer curtain. Curtains and window coverings are really a great way to add detail, color and texture to your space and, of course, privacy.

This is paper, right? I love that. Reminds me of these paper table placemats:

Its Tyvek...the stuff that those paper-ish wristbands are made of.
I bought this curtain a few weeks ago and have yet to hang it. Its going to go in my bedroom and I can't wait.
Love this. I got one, and cut it in half (along the pattern line) and hung it on two small windows - so now I can enjoy it in two rooms!...
It looks great from the outside too!
How much do they cost?
They range in price but the black/white one is only $58

Thanks Rebecca.
Now to talk the fiance into letting my hang curtains - but I admit I can find cheaper sheers and dual layer them for half the price of this.
We just completed our curtain project and had to deal with the same issue - letting in light, but wanted privacy.
