We just came across images of the headquarters of everyone's favorite online retailer of handmade goods and they did not disappoint. Housing 75 employees and the infamous Etsy Lab, Etsy products are scattered throughout this 9,000 square foot space to maintain the handmade feel of the products they carry.
Designed by the Hangar Design Group, this is the kind of work space that would definitely continue to keep us inspired and excited about our job. That fabulous wall of records was designed by the husband and wife team behind Dooky Blog while the installation of the small rooms was done by Zooguu.

I recommend checking out Hangar Group's site. There are more photos and diagrams for the Etsy space. In addition to being lovely, it seems really well planned in regard to workflow, light, and outside noise.
I think you can just buy french doors and paint them and the trim red. I think they added the touches of what looks like London sign themselves.
I would kill someone for a Tardis door.

Wow, that makes my office look even more depressing. I would love to have those floor lamps! And the different office doors are so fun. I love the coziness of the Urban Outfitters office a little more though.

As the architects for the project, we wanted to make sure that Rob Kalin and his team, really get TONS of credit for the selection of the ETSY items that truly make the space. We provided a canvas that was then painted ETSY ! It was a great collaboration!

I love Etsy and I'm not surprised that their headquarters is so inspiring. Etsy is a great way to get access to different artisans and their work. I also find it to be a great source for vintage pieces at decent prices.

WOW. That is gorgeous! I would say that I'm surprised... but I'm not. Etsy should have a headquarters that reflects the creativity, style, and bold color choices of its sellers and products. This is a reason why I LOVE selling on Etsy; they really GET their patrons and customers! Great photo.
