Once in awhile we run across a home that is so light, bright and colorful that we find ourselves grinning from ear to ear. This room is packed with white basics and brought to life by all sorts of colors, making it as inviting as it is cheerful.
We ran across this light-filled haven over in our Apartment Therapy Home Cure Flickr Pool and we just couldn't wait until next Wednesday to share it with you. This is the type of room where you expect to hear birds chirping, or people possibly people breaking out in song. We love the strong use of white, allowing the multiple colors of accessories, books, flowers and flooring to come together instead of contrasting each other.
This great space belongs to Tamar of Nest Pretty Things. We suggest checking out the rest of her home on Flickr or heading over to her online store if you have a moment.
Thanks Tamar!

So many different pops of color. I love it.
Where can I find that rug, or one like it?

This look takes a white room from boring to luminous!
How happy and springy! Can't stand to see my sweaters, flannels, wool blankets & wintery mess another day. This room inspires me.
I have the same rug and got it from Ikea. I LOVE it.
This looks like a real home. I could spend hours here curled up with a book and a cup of hot tea.
My friend's Hidden in France blog is filled with pics of this look. It certainly is chi-ful! :)
I was searching endlessly for rugs and on some AT thread came across a recommendation for ecarpetgallery.com. They've got nice kilim rugs at good prices, but then I discovered their ebay auctions. I got a Persian kilim for $99 that is stunning. Their ebay userid is ecarpetgallery.
Ooooh, so fresh!
Ugh.
This reminds me of Kindergarten! (In a good way) :-)
