A Lux Guesthouse in Berlin

House Call

Name: Lux Berlin Guest Home
Location: Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany

The home: a desolate ruin of an apartment from DDR-times (former Socialist Germany) turned into cool, urban guest home -with a lot of personal work and on a tight budget- in a house built in 1900.

The style: sparse/minimal meets 60's/70's vintage, understated luxury with decadent touches.

Color scheme: black, white & gray.

Inspiration: black & white photographs with many shades of gray.

Special problems: seriously, you don't want to know.
