For the modern bride, this wedding day bridal brunch packs a one-two punch of colorful food and floral details with stunning mid-century modern furniture and accessories.

Scroll through the incredible photos captured by Christina Forêt and read about how Megan Walsh, owner of Atomic Furnishing & Design in Asheville, NC, and the rest of the vendors designed the space.

Style

We incorporated iconic mid century modern pieces known for their sleek and modern lines, such as the tulip table, Adrian Pearsall sofa and Preway fireplace. I intentionally chose to place this shoot on the white backdrop to allow each color to really pop! Colorful ceramic rimmed bowls and hand blown modern glassware (from Bomisch) contrasted nicely on top of the spalted ambrosia maple table top.

Menu

To keep this set fun and light, the menu consisted of bright berries, assorted nuts, grapefruit juice and a bottle of champagne.

Flowers

A tall slender modern glass vase full of colorful flowers created vertical height that was needed to highlight the mid century modern light fixture. The floral arrangement included salad, cyclamen, and birch (provided by Flora in West Asheville).
