A while ago, Kanye West posed this question to his twitter followers: "If baroque and mod had a car crash... what would that ambulance look like?" I think it might look something like this one-bedroom apartment near the River Seine in Paris.

Travel site Mr. and Mrs. Smith takes a look inside this 17th century building, complete with Baroque ceiling frescoes and gold leaf that Kanye would probably approve of. The furnishings, in contrast, are a mix of mod styles by Philippe Starck, Jean Nouvel, and Eero Saarinen, with a few crazy pieces thrown in. (Can you spot the Marcel Wanders Zeppelin Chandelier?)
