When you live in a small space with one child and have another on the way, then you start building up instead of out! This sleek and modern lofted bed has pull-out, built-in closets inside and has all sorts of space for toy storage and two beds. Oh, and those holes in the side? Those are the ladder!
In a small 3 room apartment, French architect Sandra Courtine, set to work designing a space for two children that would not only be practical, but would grow as the children did. With two platforms up top, one can be used as a bed for the oldest child and the other, lower in height makes for fabulous storage of large items (and later on an additional bed). Under the loft there's space for a toddler bed and later on a desk or office area for the children and to the left are 3 pull out closets.
Clean lines are kept by not having the addition of hardware, as circles were cut in the wood to act as hand pulls and also a ladder to take the children from the ground up into their beds! It's not traditional by any means, but we're willing to bet that your kids will always be willing to hop into bed when the route they might take is so cool!
