A few days ago reader Siobhan wrote us with the subject line "OMG have you seen this?!" Frankly, I thought she was exaggerating. Then I checked out the link she sent to Megan's newly decorated dollhouse and have to offer Siobhan my apologies - if anything, "OMG" is an understatement. Let's just say Barbie's Dreamhouse has nothing on this one.
Not only has Megan decorated this dollhouse in the most utterly charming manner, but she recreated some of the artwork in her real home (which was just deservedly featured in HomeStyle magazine) for this miniature version. I could blather on forever, but why don't you just visit Meg yourself at Mousehouse to see close-up photos of each room. And then spend your weekend plotting out your own fantasy dollhouse.
Thanks Meg and Siobhan!

I love that they have the Petit Collage "It Takes a Village" print in the "kids" room!
I always wanted a doll house as a little girl. Now, I want one as a grown up girl too! This is amazing.

SUPER FANTASTIC!! So funny, I've been writing about dollhouses all this week! I wish I had seen this one.....Is it wrong that I want to wallpaper my own home this way?? Is that Orla Kiely inspired wallpaper or the real thing I wonder?
Love, love, love...I would be to afraid my girls would mess it up!
Very special indeed.
My mother had a dollhouse made for me when I was little, and I'm kind of hoping for the same for my girls.
This is absolutely gorgeous, and I hope my girls can have something have as wonderful!
I am smitten. Now I want a doll house. I read on the website that she scanned an Orly address book to make the wallpaper. I would really like a tutorial on how to do that.
Seems pretty self-explanatory. Scan your object with a scanner, print it out, and maybe mod podge it to the surface you're papering. You might have to crop it and tile it in a repeating pattern to get a large enough image to work with, but that would be easy to do in Photoshop (you could use something like MS Paint if you had to).
I just gave away my 7 year old daughter's Plan Toy House as part of the move, and we are now strategizing on something like this... Thanks for the inspiration!
This Dollhouse it's just a dream for me, I love it!
I´m starting to find or build one soon!
