Wow. Somehow we missed this home in print, but we checked it out when SFGail wrote in and asked about the back painted glass backsplash. Just take a look at some of the photos of this Marin house.
Wow indeed! I wish we could could get a full house tour of this one! although i'm not a big fan of their glass backsplash, that bathroom is something else. great sense of style, too with the colours and accessories.
one more comment/question.... the concrete floors. wouldnt those be hard on your feet and body? it jsut doesnt feel inviting, although the colour sure looks it. I mean, wood bends under your weight but concrete wouldn't. And area rugs don't cover the entire area. So What's the appeal? I feel like I'm missing something!
I love this house. I cut out the pages from the magazine and put it in my "someday when I have billions of dollars..." folder.
What a gorgeous house and way to take advantage of the view!
Oh wow. I'd love that chair in the last and second-to-last photos.
I am in love with the chair, too! Does anyone recognize it or the fabric??
As much as I love the bathroom, I'm afraid it wouldn't work for me. I'd be too tempted to just lounge with my morning coffee on the deck, so I'd never be ready for work on time!
Stunning house!
I love that chair too! This house is so fabulous it's depressing. Why can't we all live like that?
I love the bathroom!! Wow. I could do without the rest of the house, just not my cup of tea. But the bathroom with those windows and that door that opens to the balcony. How serene and refreshing that must be!
Nice mix of colors that seem neutral, I know the location stunning view! The thing I do like about back painted glass have been using it in commerical interiors is you can write on the surface, it becomes a good alternative to a white board as long as you use light color paint.
Wow, gorgeous.
Does anyone recognize the sconce in the bedroom? I'd love to find a pair similar to it.
Nice enough house - but then it is over 3000 sq feet... ...and waaay too many current decorating cliche's - it will be begging to be redone completely in a short time.
