The days when baby boy's room necessarily meant baby blue vertical stripes on the wall are behind us. Today anything goes on nursery walls. If you still like stripes but are looking for a more modern interpretation, check out this nursery.
Designed by Angie Hranowsky, this boy's room really draws you in with its interesting horizontal stripes in three alternating colors. You feel the effect of the blue color without it overwhelming you. The rest of the room isn't too shabby either - we love the inky blue rug, the whimsical bedding and the pop of red in the mobile.

Oh...I'm working on my little boys nursery as we speak and LOVE the blue stripes, but what I really want to know if where did you get that rug!
love the light fixture.
LOVE the blue stripes! The pops of black and red are so satisfying to me. We are planning on doing something very similar in our boys' shared room. We're getting there! I love the photo above for inspiration.
i like how there are so many different patterns but it still feels cohesive. the walls, bedding, rug and window treatment are all different
I remember seeing this room in Cookie magazine awhile back, still so cute!
Love it...except for that window covering, alas.
Beautiful stripes! Looks very serene.
