A Musicians' Space

Lynda Felton of the new online magazine, Covet Garden, sent us a heads up about their latest real world, real people tour, focusing upon a home belonging to a creative pair of musician/artists who've carved out spaces to both create new art and display their existing collection. The space was planned out using a computer layout site, Floorplanner.com, and is configured with distinct spaces for distinct uses...notably a home studio filled with gadgets galore...a glowing example of tech+decor throughout.

IKEA wall hooks and furniture, Samsung monitors and Apple computers all work together, mixed in with their eclectic mix of midcentury-vintage decorative items, keeping their space from crossing into the realm of cluttered and staying well within the city limits of Interestingville. This is possible because of the ample amount of storage provided by an assortment of shelving, bookcases and other storage options which keep the couple's artistic and musical equipment and media in order, highlighting the importance of having a planned space for everything, otherwise not letting it into your home (because the problem compounds in short time if unaddressed).

We've spotlighted 5 of the most tech-oriented spaces above, but there's plenty more to admire at the complete tour over at Covet Garden.
