Few pieces of decor have a past as spotty as neon signs, with roots in dive bars and the windows of seedy hotels (although shag carpeting and volcano lamps come to mind) — and none have seen the same sort of modern rebirth. With pithy sayings and witty words cast in glowing shades of pink, green and blue, the newest iterations are fun and fresh. Now I'm just waiting to see a new spin on the lava lamp… any takers?
