Design allows us the magic of transformation. For most of us, we transformed an existing space (whether an office or guest room) into our current nursery. Sometimes it's even a hallway or a closet that is transformed.
Well, we stumbled on this nursery transformation- and not only was the office above transformed into an amazing nursery for a little girl, but it was transformed again into a completely different room because- whoops- the doctors made a mistake- it was a boy, not a girl!
Check out the two transformations below:

So, that cluttered office became...the pastel palace.
Only problem- it's a boy!

So, those hard working parents got to work- and came up with this.
You can find the whole makeover and more pics here. Anyone else had to do a quick do-over?

One of the biggest reasons we didn't find out the sex beforehand. Ultrasounds are not 100% accurate!
And another reason to go with a gender-neutral nursery.
amen, MEP!
Another ditto to MEP.
And maybe it's just me but I didn't think the original nursery was particularly 'feminine', anyway!
Yeah, why did it have to be "butched-up" so much? It's a baby.
Okay, before someone takes it the wrong way...
What I really meant is why couldn't the furniture; which was painted white, stay white? It seems they went and stripped it to show the woodgrain.
I agree. I didn't mind the first white transformation for a boy. But I have to say way to go on the motivation. I hardly had our room ready for our baby let alone redoing a room twice!
