I feel lucky to live someplace where the zoo is only a fifteen minute drive away. When my kids were little, we would spend many days during the summer riding the zoo train, having picnic lunches, and looking at the animals. (The meerkats were always my favorite. I could watch them for hours.) These clever zoo passports can make your visits even more fun and engage your kids on another level.

Laura from We Wilsons designed these passports to go with their visits to the Memphis Zoo. After an opening page for names and favorite animals, the passport is filled with pictures of animals that kids can check off once they've seen them. You can download Laura's, or get creative and make your own and include other activities that might be appealing to your kids and their developmental level.

I'm thinking about making a grocery store passport to keep my kids occupied at Trader Joe's.
