You might guess the above table was decorated without a budget, right? As in, the sky's the limit. But actually, it was done on a shoestring with items bought at a dollar store. It's the peacock-inspired jewel tones that bring such richness and seeming extravagance to this Thanksgiving table:
For last year's Thanksgiving, Christina over at Full House put together this tabletop decor inspired by the beautifully colored feathers of the peacock. We love the non-traditional color scheme here, which is complemented occasionally by natural materials and orange pops.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Wow...that's beautiful! Love the colors!
Impressive confirmation that there are substitutes for money but none for creativity.
The palette is pretty, too.
I LOOOVE this look- everything together looks so rich- WANT!!
My favorite colors! You can find peacock ornaments at Michael's (about $2), and at Home Goods (maybe $4-6) for this theme, as well. Glassware in chartreuse and blue would be beautiful with this!
I see that Sue The Napkin is visiting from Young House Love!
Those colors are gorgeous. I love succulents and peacocks, but how do peacoks and succulents go together?
@Anita83, Their shared colors make them pretty together?
@Anita83, simply as flora and fauna ?
