Architectural firm Pelli Clarke Pelli has released renderings of Transbay Transit Center, a 1.5 million square-foot transit hub in downtown San Francisco set to open in 2017. Set to be the "Grand Central" of the City by the Bay, it even has its own Central Park—a 5.4 acre rooftop landscaped park that will include an amphitheater, playground, and cafes.
