You know the movie scene...the couple goes to bed after a long day and spends a good two minutes removing the 85 throw and decorative pillows from their bed. Now, real life isn't as extreme, but it has always seemed silly to me to have shammed pillows that merely serve as decoration and can't be slept on due to their stiff fabric.
Jacinda of Prudent Baby couldn't understand why pretty pillows aren't slept on either, so she came up with a great sewing project to make shams with bed sheet like material. Realizing that shams usually have a seam down the middle of the back, her design moves the seem to the edge of the pillow case. This is an excellent affordable and functional way to do away with those decorative shams.
