Laila Ali may have been a fierce fighter in the ring, but clearly she has a soft side...a very soft side. This dreamy nursery belongs to her daughter Sydney and is decidedly feminine and sweet. It was designed by Naomi Alon and Gerri Panebianco of LA-based Little Crown Interiors who balanced the candy pink with more mature elements.
It's not every day we see a pink crib and this one has a story behind it. The "Hope" crib is a collaboration between Little Crown Interiors and Newport Cottages to benefit breast cancer research. 10% of the proceeds of each crib sale are donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Another memorable piece in the room is the custom upholstered glider by SPI Baby. To glam the room up a bit, Naomi and Gerri added decals on the walls to mimic decorative moldings from Dali Decals.
The artwork holds special meaning, cherubs to represent Laila's spiritual side and a photograph of her father cradling her as a baby stretched over canvas (both by Art.com).

Ugh.
The photo of grandpa holding mom as a baby? So, so sweet. The rest is not my style, even if I could afford it.
Pretty room but not my style. Do like the picture of grandpa and I find the decal wall trim quite appealing.
ooh, i like it! but maybe just because i have three boys. :)
Yep pyjammy, I love this, too, because it's so feminine compared to my house of boys' things.
Love it
I adore it. I'm soooo tired of those grey nurseries that actually seem more for grownups than for children. This is lovely, it looks like a little doll room. I'm stealing several ideas!
i too am in love!
So classy! Love it.
