The fence conforms to the shape of the low-hanging branches, and the sandblasted glass of the gate lets light in while keeping prying eyes out. You can see more of this deck/garden combo created by Emeryville-based architecture and interior design firm Ohashi Design Studio right here.

What a perfect example of the benefits of working with what you've got. This home garden provides the owners with privacy without sacrificing the beautiful sprawling oak tree in the center...

Simply lovely.
I feel better just looking at this garden. Absolutely beautiful.
That is unbelievably gorgeous and elegant. Wow.
Serene and beautiful.
Just beautiful. But oh, do I miss grass.
I appreciate its beauty and elegance but being a plantaholic I would prefer more greenery.
fantastic, fabulous, elegant, gorgeous, --- I'm in LOVE.
as long as they remember that they will need to properly maintain that oak! it will need the hole around it expanded as it grows, etc.
Where can I find the house numbers?
The house numbers can be found at DWR... They're normally ~$50/per, but if you are patient they go on sale once or twice a year and get at low as $10/per. They're very nice in person.
