To be honest, it's really hard to tell from these photos the difference between the before and after, but that's because of the lighting and the subtle paint colour adopted by Anna, who wrote in to thank all of you who helped her make her paint choice after asking the Apartment Therapy community for advice
. Details with larger photos below.
Apartment Therapy, you kindly posted my question about paint colors for our rental house a few weeks back, and I wanted to follow up with "After" pictures. We decided to use Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace throughout (eggshell on the walls and semi-gloss on the trim), and couldn't be happier with the results.
Now, I know that there are going to be some naysayers who will say that they like the contrast/interest of the different grays in the "Before" shots better than the all-white in the "After" shots, and that's a valid position. However, I can tell you that when you are actually in the space, it feels so much bigger and lighter and brighter and cleaner - it's really kind of amazing [Ed: here's a photo that better shows the Chantilly Lace paint in another better illuminated room]. Thanks to all the Apartment Therapy readers who helped us make this decision!
