A Reading Nook Is Great For Kids…But Don't Forget the Grown-Ups

We love to see a cozy reading nook for the kids here at Ohdeedoh. This one is nearly perfect - accessible books organized on a shelf, plenty of lighting, and a warm, comfortable spot. Parents need a spot of their own so after creating a wonderful reading nook for the kids, go create one for yourself.

A good reading spot depends less on furniture and accessories and more on location. There are just certain corners and areas of the home that just feel super cozy and ideal for a reading nook. This one above belongs to Stephanie of Stephmodo and is so warm with the sun streaming in through the window.

Now that I'm done with nursing, I've co-opted the glider and ottoman for myself. A large basket on the floor holds books and magazines and small side table is perfect for a pair of glasses and a drink. It's a great spot to prop up the feet and catch up on some reading for pleasure.
