The eBay Green Team grew out of a grassroots efforts began in 2007 by a team of 40 passionate eBay employees who gathered together to make eBay a truly green place to work. They have accomplished a lot, from inspiring eBay to build San Jose’s largest solar installation to helping the company decide how to achieve carbon neutrality.
Today, more than 1,000 eBay employees in 18 countries are Green Team members, supporting environmental causes in their local communities and promoting sustainable business practices within eBay.
