Whether by choice or necessity, being a renter means a bit of compromise when it comes to making your house or apartment a home. As a renter myself, I've always taken interest in posts that shared useful information about how to make due within the limitations of renting, so here are my favourite posts from around all of AT that include solutions such as renter's removable solutions, finding insurance for your apartment or rental home, decorating ideas specific to living in a rental, and much more...

TEST - been trying to post and keep getting error messages.
too bad the link on the How To: Replace Ugly Rental Ceiling Shades doesn't work & there was no real info in the post itself to try to follow up. there's a blogger lesson in there somewhere.
the link worked just fine for me....
Sorry loislane: unfortunately the eBay dealer changed their store link inbetween the time this was originally posted and when this followup post occurred. We've updated the link after finding their new location (which wasn't easy, since they changed their name too); it's not always easy to keep each and every link updated across thousands of posts, so hopefully you'll understand when a link outside of our site changes and we're caught unaware (especially eBay, which is sort of like the Wild West when it comes to sellers).
