I love myself a good rocking chair. It's such a great way to relax at night, get out any nervous energy and even get in a tiny bit of exercise.
I have a vintage rocking chair from my grandmother that I just adore but have also been eyeing a few modern ones lately to add to the mix. Here are a few drool worthy options I have found.
1. The Buttercup Rocker by Blu Dot is my current obsession. I literally dreamt about it last night...sigh.
2. This fun Acapulco Rocker by Innit Designs comes in C(yan) M(agenta) Y(ellow) or K(black).
3. The Don'Do Rocking Chair by Massaud is elegant and stunning and is available at Switch Modern.
4. The Finn Rocker is Anthroplogies Mid Century inspired take on the modern rocker.
5. Iglooplay by 2 Modern is another wood form that keeps me entranced.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I tried sitting/rocking in the Blu Dot rocker. I didn't like it. I like the look of Don'Do rocking chair.
Iglooplay rocker is for kids/kid sized.
No Eames Rocker? Those are the only rockers that have ever made me drool, and they come in so many fun colors.
I love your comment about getting a tiny bit of exercise.
I like rockers, too, but my glider w/footstool is even better!
I love that last one!
