Speechless in love!!
This looks like heaven to me. I just wanna walk in, lie back and read!
The rug is actually a Muslim prayer rug. You can find many vintage ones on Etsy or eBay.
What more does one need? Light, books, chaise lounge, chandelier. :)
Beautiful, except for those color staged books. Why? Sigh.
thay're not color staged, they seem to be just arranged by sort - eg encyclopedias together, textbooks together, short books on the shirt shelves, tall books on the tall shelves

pardon typos :p
I love this room but my first thought was that clearly no earthquakes happen in Berlin.
So beautiful! Love the bookshelves and the chandelier!
The pattern of the rug is called bokhara (occasionally bukhara). It's one of the most common Persian pattern styles and is generally pretty affordable, depending on the age and size, of course.
