My first Brooklyn apartment had a brick wall which I loved because it felt so "New Yorky," but in reality it meant I didn't hang any artwork on it. I was reminded of that apartment when I saw the beautiful stone walls inside this home with a simple garland above a girl's bed.As much as I try to be a "less is more" person I usually can't show the kind of design restrain exhibited here. A basic paper garland is all it took here to warm up this large stone wall. Readers, do you have stone or brick walls inside your children's rooms? How do you decorate them?
You can see this whole gorgeous home at the Spanish shelter magazine site Nuevo Estilo.
